Actually, I sort of struggl...I LOVE THIS BOOK TOO!! Actually, I sort of struggled with the first one a bit? But then I loved and adored the second. <3 But Kestrel is one of my favourite heroines for EXACTLY that reason: she doesn't want to fight!! I mean, hello, refreshing, right?!??! I also appreciate that it's about blackmail/manipulation/genius/and brains for once, instead of the cold/emotionless heroines that just punch people and get their way. I mean, they're awesome? But I don't think there's enough girly-heroines out there.
