Books by Rating
From this chart, I can tell that I am quite generous in rating. I don't use stars on my blog, but I do on Goodreads. Should I switch to stars? Maybe I will, but in 2017.Books by Genre

Top 4 Disappointments of 2016
Of course, not all books will be good, and here are some of the books I've read this year that have been either a) a pain or b) boring or c) crushed my hopes or d) all of the above. Let's go!
- Silas Marner by George Eliot
- Twelve Kings in Sharakhai by Bradley P. Beaulieu
- Doll Bones by Holly Black
- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell (because I expected so much more from her!)
Most Anticipated Books of 2017
Moving on to the happy category! 2017 - new books, new series, sequels, all that good stuff. So, which great books are coming our way?

ReplyDeleteAnd don’t worry you’re not the only generous one when it comes to rating ^^ Since I changed the email under which I have my blog, I have only given one 3-star, otherwise they’re all 4’s and 5’s!
Haha yeah! I can never bring myself to rate a book too low... nothing below 3! (as of yet)
DeleteHaha I've been thinking the same thing with my ratings! I rate pretty much everything 3,4, or 5 stars and I feel like I'm just being too nice. Or maybe it's because I only read books that I know I'll like... I don't know. I'm so excited for ACOWAR as well!! ACOMAF was just amazing and that ending killed me! I hope you have a wonderful 2017!
ReplyDeleteLaura @BlueEyeBooks
Thanks! Same, maybe it is just because we're choosing books we're sure we'll enjoy to some extent, haha :)
DeleteACOMAF is definitely on everyone's list this year :D Carry On was also my most dissapointing book, I just expect so much! Happy new year Cloe!
ReplyDeleteNothing beats ACOMAF, haha. Also, happy new year Tasya!
