2015 Wrap Up

It's the last day of 2015! Tomorrow, we will be 2016. Can you believe it? This year seems to have passed by so quickly...

So, this year, I managed to read 75 books. I thought I would be able to read a couple more, but I got a bit busy. Oops. Hey, who else thinks that the new Goodreads looks pretty cool? I think my favourite part is how they display the year in books.

My main genre of 2015 was Fantasy, followed by Contemporary. I wanted to read more Mystery, but I couldn't find many good books. But there's always next year, right? Which genres have you read the most in 2015?

This year has been amazing for me! I started blogging again after a few failed attempts in the past. But I can't say this year hasn't been successful. I've met a lot of new people and it's really been wonderful. I hope the next year will continue to be as great as this year was! Best wishes to all of you, and thanks for all the support you've shown! ❤ You are all amazing! :D

  1. A good mystery I could recommend would be I Am the Messenger, by Markus Zusak. Okay, it’s not exactly 100% mystery, but it does have that ‘wow I have no idea what’s going on’ feel to it! Oh and Sherlock Holmes is always fun to read :)
    Have an amazing 2016! :D

  3. I'm with you with loving fantasy! It's my favourite genre, and I hope to read even more of it in 2016, haha. I don't read many mystery books, but recently I read an ARC of 13 Minutes, and I'd highly recommend it. It's out in February 2016, so I'd definitely recommend picking it up if you're into that sort of thing! Another mystery book I read in 2016 was Don't Look Back, and it was really good too. I'd really recommend that too! :)

Thanks for sharing this, Cloe! I hope you have a great 2016, and that you do manage to read more mystery books ♥

  5. I also read a lot of fantasy in 2015. I think 2015-2016 is they year for fantasy because, well, most of the new releases are about them! High fantasy, retellings, magical realism, you mentioned it :D I don't read many mystery books, but last year I read Sherlock Holmes and enjoyed it a lot! Have a fabulous 2016!
